Chemical Resistance of Doctor Blade

Carbon fiber composite doctor blades have excellent chemical corrosion resistance and can withstand acid and alkali chemicals commonly used in papermaking processes, such as hydrogen peroxide and sodium hypochlorite. They are not easily oxidized, corroded or swollen, with stable material structure and no delamination, cracking or softening. Compared with ordinary rubber and fiberboard blades, they have stronger resistance to acids, alkalis and oxidants. They maintain dimensional stability and mechanical properties even under long-term exposure to chemicals, ensuring stable cleaning performance without damaging the cylinder surface. They are suitable for complex working conditions of various paper types with stable service life.
